    Residential Project of the Year 2019

    Vox Vertical Village in Timișoara, the boldest real estate project in western Romania, received one of the year’s major awards from Real Estate Magazine: Residential Project of the Year 2019.

    It was a pleasant surprise for the developers of Vox Vertical Village, especially considering the strong competition for this title. Thus, the real estate project from Timișoara competed with five other developers from the Capital and one from Constanța.

     

     

    The nominees were: Vox Vertical Village, Timișoara, VOX PROPERTY GROUP; Cloud 9 Residence, Bucharest, 21 Residence; Aviației Apartments, Bucharest, Gran Via Real Estate; Metropolitan Mihai Bravu, Bucharest, METROPOLITAN Residence; Maurer Residence, Constanța, MAURER Imobiliare; H Pipera Lake, Bucharest, HAGAG Europe.

    For this award, only quality, creativity, innovation, impact, and location were taken into account. The six newest projects developed or launched in 2019 were nominated, all appreciated for their quality and added value.

     

     

    The awards, consisting of unique trophies, were handed out during the Real Estate Awards Gala 2019, which took place in Bucharest on Wednesday evening, in one of the most elegant venues for festive events.

    As a reminder, Vox Vertical Village is a premiere project on the Romanian residential market, involving the development of a ‘vertical village’, which will also include a ‘vertical forest’ made up of over 1,000 shrubs and various plants to be planted both inside the project and on the terraces of the apartments. Thus, more than a third of the built area of Vox Vertical Village will consist of green spaces and terraces.

    The project is designed by Studio Arca, an award-winning architecture studio from Timișoara, which has won numerous awards, including for the architectural concept of Vox Technology Park.

    Each apartment will have a generous terrace, the central axis of the building will remain open, creating a spacious atrium, similar to the central square of a traditional town. Vox Vertical Village will include a full range of facilities, such as an outdoor swimming pool, cinema, and a fully equipped fitness room. Each unit will also be equipped with state-of-the-art smart systems to control all available parameters.

     

     

    In addition to conceptual innovations, Vox Vertical Village will be developed following the sustainable BREEAM principles, which will benefit future residents. Vox Vertical Village will also offer both underground and above-ground parking, comprising a total of 138 spaces – 94 underground and 44 at ground level. The project’s general contractor is PORR Construct, one of the largest construction companies active in Romania.

    The project is being developed in close proximity to Vox Technology Park, also developed by Vox Property Group following a €30 million investment. The company has been active for several years in the residential market in Timișoara, while Virgil Tornoreanu, managing partner of Vox Property Group, is a successful local entrepreneur with activities in the real estate market and the IT&C sectors.
